PRIORITIES

STRONG COURTS, SAFE COMMUNITIES

Upholding the Constitution and Rule of Law

The foundation of justice rests on strict adherence to the Constitution and Ohio law. Citizens deserve judges who make decisions rooted in principle, not politics.

Fairness, Impartiality, and Accountability

Justice requires both compassion and strength. Offenders must be held accountable while victims and their families are treated with dignity.

Commitment to Community and Public Safety

Strong courts make strong communities. A judge’s responsibility extends to maintaining safety and confidence in the justice system.

MEET CARRIE HEISELE

Carrie Heisele is a Magistrate for the Warren County Common Pleas Court (General Division). Magistrate Heisele was appointed to the bench in May 2021.

Prior to taking the bench, Magistrate Heisele was an Assistant Warren County Prosecuting Attorney since 2006. At the Prosecutor’s Office, Magistrate Heisele was a docket attorney prosecuting felony cases of all levels, including murder, sexual assault, and other high-level felonies. As an assistant prosecutor she engaged in constant negotiations between opposing parties to arrive at the best possible outcome, learning to deal with difficult persons under negative circumstances.

Her background in trial work gives her great insight into complicated cases and ever-developing conditions. As a magistrate, she is accustomed to discerning and adapting to evolving environments, and successfully communicating with people in difficult situations, who are often experiencing trauma and stress. Magistrate Heisele’s experience on the bench provides her with the skill set necessary to dive into, scrutinize, and arrive at fair and just resolutions while adhering to the strict letter of law.

A PROVEN CONSERVATIVE

Warren County deserves judges who reflect the values of our community—judges who are strong, ethical, and unwavering in their commitment to fairness. Having devoted my career to serving the people of Warren County, first as an assistant prosecutor and now as a magistrate, I’ve always been guided by the principles of accountability, justice, and respect for the rule of law.

Our courts must remain fair, impartial, and consistent. That means protecting the rights of all who come before the bench, holding offenders accountable, and ensuring that justice is never influenced by outside pressures. I am committed to applying the law faithfully, upholding the Constitution, and maintaining the trust our citizens deserve from their judiciary.
